Freshman quarterback Geoff Suddath was selected as the FSU Male Student-Athlete of the Week after his performance in the football team's 49-24 loss to No. 24 ranked Alfred.

A native of Eldersburg, Md., Suddath threw for 188 yards on 18-of-29 passes and two touchdowns in his second collegiate start. Both touchdown tosses came in the second quarter as FSU narrowed the deficit to 28-17 with two minutes left until halftime.
