Nick Payne earns his first Frostburg State Male Athlete of the Week award this season.

The senior from Frostburg, Md., booted six punts for 255 yards in FSU's 44-19 loss to No. 5 Wesley this past Saturday.

Payne averaged 42.5 yards per punt including a 52-yarder in the fourth quarter. Payne also pinned Wesley inside their own 20-yard line on three seperate occasions.

Entering the contest against Wesley, Payne was ranked 18th in the nation, averaging 39.9 yards per punt.
