Frostburg State University Athletics

Lauren Russell earns the Frostburg State Female Athlete of the Week honor after a standout week for the Bobcats.

The junior from Waldforf, Md., helped FSU to a pair of wins, including 3-1 victory over defending AMCC Champion Penn State Altoona.

Russell had a hand in seven of Frostburg State's eight goals on the week. She tallied four goals and an assist in FSU's 5-1 victory over Medaille.

Russell leads FSU in goals (12), assists (7) and points (31).
