Makiha Cooper earns his second Frostburg State Athlete of the Week award this fall.
In FSU's 35-16 loss to Widener, Cooper hauled in a career-best 202 yards, the second best single-game receiving effort in school history and just eight yards shy of tying the school record. He caught nine passes and a fourth quarter touchdown.
Cooper also caught a 77-yard reception in the fourth quarter, good the for the 11th longest in school history.
A senior from Baltimore, Md., Cooper eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards for his career after catching five passes for 97 yards in the first half in the game against Widener.
