Caitlin Lovend from the Bobcat softball team has been selected as the FSU Female Athlete of the Week.

Lovend hit .640 (16-for-25) during FSU’s 7-0 record at the Fastpitch Dreams Classic last week in Myrtle Beach. She smacked five home runs, scored 12 runs, drove in 16 RBI, while posting a 1.320 slugging percentage. She had at least one hit in all seven games and added four walks for a .690 on-base percentage.
