Senior Shari Beavers has been named the FSU Female Athlete of the Week after helping the Bobcat softball team to three wins in four games at the Beach Blast at Virginia Beach.

Beavers tossed two wins in the circle with five strikeouts and a 1.50 ERA. At the plate, she hit .462 with six hits, three RBIs and two runs scored.

In FSU's 4-3 win over Mount Saint Vincent, she finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and tossed all seven innings with five strikeouts for the win.
