Senior men’s basketball guard Christian Jackson has been named the FSU Male Athlete of the Week for the sixth time this season.
Jackson earned the CAC Player of the Week honor after leading the Bobcats to two conference wins against Marymount and York (Pa.). He is currently ranked second in the country in scoring, averaging 26.1 points per game.
In the 66-61 win over Marymount, Jackson finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and three 3-pointers.
During the York victory, he led with a game-high 30 points, his eighth game with 30 or more points this season. He finished 9-of-13 (69.2%) with four three pointers, eight foul shots and seven rebounds.
