Freshman swimmer Kaitlyn Donch grabbed the FSU Female Athlete of the Week honor after an outstanding effort in the Bobcats' first action of 2013.

Donch picked up three second-place finishes in a 135-56 loss at Hood College. She finished runner-up in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:46.10), the 500-yard freestyle (5:46.22) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:42.10).

The Athlete of the Week award is the second for Donch this year.
