After a strong showing to open the 2012 outdoor season, Chauncey Manson has been named the FSU Male Athlete of the Week.

Manson won a pair of events and helped the 4x100-meter relay team to a second-place showing (43.07) at the Roanoke College Invitational. Manson earned individual wins in the 100 (11.08) and 200-meter dashes (22.21). He qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 200 and 4x100.
