Wes Jacobs posted spectacular results at the CAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday and has been selected as the FSU Male Athlete of the Week.

The senior mid-distance specialist had three wins, one ECAC qualifying mark and set a school record.

Jacobs kicked off the championships with a victory in the 400-meter dash in a school record and ECAC time of 49.78. He then grabbed a win in the 800-meter dash in 1:57.31.

Jacobs, along with teammates Chauncey Manson, Eric Williams and Devin Francillon, pulled off an exhilarating win in the meet's final event, the 4x400-meter relay (3:28.63).
