Hannah Edler capped off her freshman year in excellent fashion and has been named the FSU Female Athlete of the Week. Edler set a pair of school records at the three-day CAC swimming championships.

Edler set the school record in the 50-yard freestyle twice on Friday. She first set the mark after swimming the first leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay. She later set the mark in the 50-yard freestyle finals after touching the wall in 24.81 after taking third in the finals.

On Sunday, Edler finished fifth in the 100-yard freestyle in 54.85. She claimed the school record in the event by finishing in 54.82 in the preliminries earlier in the day.
