Frostburg State University Athletics

Brooke Winterling has earned the Frostburg State Student-Athlete of the Week award for the fifth time this season. She helped the Bobcats to a 2-0 record last week and capture the AMCC Championship. FSU downed Lake Erie 3-0 in the semifinals last Friday and Penn State Altoona 3-2 this past Saturday in the Championship game. 

Winterling, a Glenelg, Md. native, recorded 52 kills and 36 digs in the pair of wins including a 30 kill/27 dig effort in the championship game against Penn State Altoona. 

The FSU volleyball team travels to Springfield, Ohio to face No. 1 Wittenberg in the NCAA Tournament.
