Frostburg State University Athletics

Brooke Winterling has earned the Frostburg State Student-Athlete of the Week award for the fourth time this season. She helped the Bobcats to a 2-0 record last week and clinch the AMCC's regular season championship. FSU downed Penn State Altoona 3-2 last Wednesday and Pitt-Bradford 2-0 this past Saturday.

Winterling, a Glenelg, Md. native, recorded 49 kills and 35 digs in the pair of wins including a 30 kill/20 dig effort against then conference leading Penn State Altoona.

Winterling is ranked 24th in NCAA Division III with 4.64 kills per game and she is currently fifth all-time in a single season in FSU history with 494 kills.

The FSU volleyball team hosts the AMCC Tournament at Bobcat Arena this weekend.
