Wes Jacobs has been named the FSU Male Athlete of the Week after his impressive start to the 2011-12 indoor track season.

Jacobs earned a win and qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 500-meter dash (1:07.69) at the WVU Holiday Classic.

His 1:07.69 is a career-best in the event.
