Maggie Edwards has been selected as the FSU Female Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 5.

In three games last week, the junior goalkeeper made 48 saves, including a career-high 33 saves in a loss to Drew University.

Edwards, currently 12th among active NCAA Division III players in saves, stopped three shots in a 9-0 season opening victory over Sweet Briar. She capped the weekend with 12 saves in a loss to Cabrini.
