Junior attack Dan Dowd earned the FSU Male Athlete of the Week honor after helping the men's lacrosse team to a home win over Neumann, 16-9.

Dowd scored four goals, including two during the first quarter as the Bobcats opened a 4-1 lead. He later handed out two assists during a crucial 7-0 run that gave FSU control of the contest.

The win was also the first victory at home during the second chapter of men's lacrosse as a varsity sport at Frostburg.
