Women's Soccer Team Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award for the Second Year in a Row

FROSTBURG, Md. - The 2009 Frostburg State women's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for the second year in a row.
The Bobcats were one of 329 women's programs recognized for achieving above a 3.0 grade point average during the 2008-09 school year. FSU had an overall grade point average of 3.18.
Frostburg State finished its 2009 campaign with a 18-4 overall record as the team made it to the first round of the NCAA tournament, failing to Otterbein, 1-0. This year's squad broke the school record for most wins (18) and had several players achieve individual single-season records.
