NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - For the second week in a row, the Frostburg State football team had a player selected as the Atlantic Central Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Monday. This week, Bobcat junior defensive back
Terryl Monroe (Temple Hills, Md./Dematha) was the recipient of the honor after his performance in FSU's 35-30 victory over Apprentice on Saturday.
Monroe made nine total tackles (seven solo, two assisted), one pass breakup, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles. All together, the Bobcat defense forced four turnovers and held off a late Apprentice charge for the win.
Monroe is fifth in the ACFC in tackles per contest (7.2) and has 65 on the season, including 46 solo stops.

Anthony King (Germantown, Md./Northwest) was named an ACFC offensive honor roll selection. He ran for 56 yards and two touchdowns
Frostburg State (1-8) ends its season this Saturday when it travels to in-state rival Salisbury for the 11th Annual Regents' Cup at 4:00 pm.
