GIBSONIA, Pa. - Frostburg State women's basketball junior forward
Brittany James (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, Monday afternoon.
James helped FSU (4-5) to a 1-1 record this past weekend in the Eighth Annual Starters Moravian Winter Classic. She earned all-tournament honors after scoring 37 points and grabbing 24 rebounds in the pair of games.
In the Bobcats' 88-80 overtime victory over Bridgewater State in the consolation game, James totaled 23 points, 16 rebounds and four steals for her fourth double-double of the season.
Frostburg State returns to action on Wednesday, January 7 when it travels to Franciscan for an AMCC matchup at 6:00 pm.
